where did my african dwarf frog go?
we have a 10 gallon aquarium set up added a dwarf frog, it was doing Well.l got up this morning the frog was gone looked all over tank now hes no where to be found, i have a lid, plants, heater, a algae eater and a few community fish. what happened to the frog he was in his home when we went to bed and gone this morning.
Either he’s hiding, he’s in the filter, he escaped, (check all around the aquarium, they can fit through very small spaces,) or he died over night and was eaten by the other fish.
On another note, there are no “algae eaters” that belong in 10-gallons, and if it’s a Pleco you have, especially a Common Pleco, that can grow over a foot long, you’ll want to get him to a new home soon.
